Our volunteers are some of the nicest most dedicated people anywhere. Rain or shine, they come in on their own time to help take care of the little furry beasties that depend on their help. We cannot thank them enough for their caring dedication.

Veterinary Care
Our veterinary care is donated by our local vet Dr. Richard Denney and his wonderful staff, Anney and Sharon. They have been very supportive and responsive whenever we have needed help or advice. We are able to do what we do because of their services and care. Thank You Dr. Denney!!

Off Island Support:
Sometimes people will come over on vacation and come by the Humane Society to see what they can do to help. Sometimes they bring stuff and sometimes they will help clean or pet the cats. We think it is wonderful that people are willing to take time from their visit to help us out. It warms the heart to be sure.
4/1/10 Caden M. is a fine young man that was here visiting and decided he wanted to help the animals. He did an outstanding job helping us clean and the kitties loved him right away, which is rare. That, by itself, speaks to character. Well done, Caden, thank you for your help.
